About the Job

Our client, a Dublin-based PR market leader, is seeking a positive, detail-oriented EU Project Administrator to ensure the smooth administrative and financial execution of EU-funded projects. The role presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing EU Projects team, and work closely with internal teams and external partners through public and private sectors, to further a high impact portfolio of EU projects. 

About Our Client

Our client is an award-winning leader in Public Relations, Public Affairs and Media, providing strategic communications consultancy and training. With responsibilities for dissemination, exploitation and training, they have been a project partner in a range of diverse and significant EU funded research and innovation programmes. As their project portfolio expands, they are looking for an experienced, organised, and adaptable EU Project Administrator to join the team. The role is located in Dublin, but our client will consider UK-based candidates willing to travel to Dublin on a regular basis (i.e.. several days every 4-6 weeks).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for involvement in EU projects.
  • Meticulously maintain accurate project records and timesheets.
  • Coordinate and prepare timely submission of project reports (technical and financial).
  • Collaborate with team members and partners to ensure on-time delivery of project deliverables.
  • Assist in writing new EU project proposals.
  • Manage EU project audits as required and implement thorough preparation measures for future project audits.
  • Proactively communicate with project stakeholders.
  • If required, serve as a contact point with relevant European Commission services.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience in EU-funded project administration and organisation
  • Experience in audit process for EU-funded projects.
  • Experience in organising information and effectively managing tasks and deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in fields such as business administration, accounting, or finance.
  • Full professional English proficiency (written and spoken) and strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and a quick aptitude for learning new software.
