About the role:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and highly organised individual to join an innovative and dynamic team of Insurance Brokers & Consultants. They are looking for a motivated Graduate Account Handler to embark on a 2-year training Programme, working towards their ACII (Advanced Diploma in Insurance) qualification with the goal of becoming an Executive. As part of the team, you will be involved in building relationships with clients, analysing and working closely with insurers to get the best possible outcome for their clients.  


Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee client interactions and manage relationships to grow the business.
• Assist with the renewal process, gathering information and preparing documents.
• Coordinate with insurers to secure optimal terms for corporate clients.
• Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to expand your client portfolio.
• Analyse sales data to identify and leverage patterns and trends.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including company policies and processes, appropriate risk placement and system updates. Adhere to insurer guidelines and bespoke requirements.
• Organise your tasks to meet deadlines and client requirements efficiently.
• Handle all documentation, credit notes, invoices, whilst ensuring a smooth and trouble-free renewal for the client.
• Foster good relations with insurance companies.
 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level.
• Previous insurance industry experience/exposure would be beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A willing 'can do' attitude and a desire to learn about all aspects of insurance.
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with both clients and insurers/underwriters.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passionate about working in insurance and looking to accelerate your career.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A keen eye for detail with strong time-management and organizational skills.
