E-Commerce Manager (Shopify focus)

About the Role:Reporting to the Marketing Lead, the E-Commerce Manager will take charge of the day-to-day operations across multiple e-commerce platforms. This role demands a data-driven mindset to refine strategies, elevate the customer experience, and drive growth in key performance metrics such as revenue, conversion rates, and order value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Management: Monitor and optimise e-commerce metrics, including revenue, AOV, and conversion rates.
- Campaign Execution: Plan and implement e-commerce calendars, ensuring seamless product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns aligned with business goals.
- Data Analysis: Leverage analytics tools to evaluate campaign performance and customer behaviour, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare and present weekly performance reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure products and site content are visually appealing, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, operations, and external partners to identify and implement optimisation opportunities.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends in e-commerce, CRO, and trading practices to enhance platform performance.
- Content Management: Oversee website visuals, banners, imagery, and copy to maintain a cohesive and on-brand narrative.
- Creative Development: Collaborate with internal and external designers to produce compelling digital assets.
- CRM & Email Marketing: Manage planning, execution, and performance analysis of email marketing campaigns.
- SEO & Development: Partner with external teams to optimise website performance and search engine visibility
Requirements:A minimum of 3 years' experience in e-commerce or digital retail management, with a strong customer-first focus.
Expertise in analytics tools such as Google Analytics or equivalent platforms.
Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
Proven success in enhancing customer journeys and delivering impactful digital campaigns.
Detail-oriented, creative, and well-versed in retail and marketing strategies.
Exceptional analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Self-driven and able to balance independent work with team collaboration.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
