About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Legal Secretary to join our Law Team. This role requires providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support while maintaining a flexible approach to collaborating with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilise the CRM system effectively to manage client and case information.
  • Accurately finalise dictation within set deadlines.
  • Handle all tasks related to opening, progressing, and closing legal files.
  • Assist with answering telephone calls and attending to walk-in clients.
  • Maintain a professional, polite, and helpful demeanour at all times.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to ensure swift and accurate case progression.
  • Take ownership and accountability for delivering an excellent client experience.
  • Proactively manage case matters, ensuring no file remains unattended for more than two weeks.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, client-focused service, and problem-solving within the team.
  • Support personal and professional development for yourself and colleagues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, referrers, estate agents, financial advisors, will writers, and other legal professionals.
  • Promote and adhere to workplace health and safety regulations, ensuring a hazard-free environment.
  • Demonstrate financial awareness by identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing expenses efficiently.
  • Stay up to date with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including Money Laundering, GDPR, Compliance, and Financial Prudence.

Requirements:
  • 2 years previous experience in an administrative or legal support role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and office software.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach to work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
